Sustainable art
Danish brand Papirvaerk collects waste paper and makes it into paperpulp and then paper for art prints. Handmade and a recycled material. Very nice. Prices around 20-55 euro.
Boxing it
I found a new favourite. Swedish brand Ladugården make products from trees growing on their land. Oak, ash and aspen tree. Everything is super locally sourced, dried on the farm and crafted here too. Does it get more sustainable than that?
I loved the boxes for beer bottles. Or why not get a grate for the bathroom?
I think it is interesting that these products are super sustainable But don’t have any brand cooperations like FSC.
That felt nice
Butter yellow. All trend experts I talk to have this obsession with butter yellow now. Someone who is working with this is Swedish sustainable brand Aveva. All products are made of local wool and dyed sustainably.
Craft and repair.
We have seen it before and the old technique of ”kintsugi” is wellknown. Yesterday I went to Sörmlands Museum in Nyköping and saw these beautiful old crafted bowls with nice repair. Beautiful and super nice.
Don’t buy new things – repair.

Shine a light
Walking around at fair Formex and finding some fun sustainable things. First out is Time to Candle. Founder Louise takes leftover and waste candles from restaurants and make it into molded and sculptured new decorative candles. Fun – and a sustainable product.
Live, baby, live
New rugs in sustainable materials. The brand Liv makes sustainable products mainly in textile. At the fair Formland i fell for the colourful and fluffy new collection called Swirl. Partly made of recycled wool and made by hand. Also GoodWeave certified. Full score.
